Reducing variation in informed consent processes
The Safer Care Victoria Renal Clinical Network (RCN) is working to reduce variation in the information provided to patients at the time of informed consent and improve patient involvement in decisions about their care, across Victorian renal hub services. To achieve this, written informed consent templates and a supporting policy document have been created. These documents contain recommended minimum standards for inclusion at the time of informed consent and relate to facility haemodialysis, home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. This webinar will discuss the policy and consent templates and how these can be adopted to suit your health service.
